Will it soften my hard water?
No. Softening means removing calcium and magnesium, which takes an ion-exchange softener. A showerhead can't do it, whatever the box says. Independent lab testing found no tested shower filter reduced hardness.
Will it fix hair loss, eczema or acne?
We don't claim that. Chlorine is one thing some people find drying, but a filter isn't a treatment. Talk to a dermatologist about skin or scalp conditions.
Does it work on chloramine?
About one in five Americans get chloramine-treated water. It's harder to remove in the split second water spends in a shower filter, and we haven't finished testing it. The strips read both free and total chlorine, so you'll see your own result. If it doesn't help, send it back within 30 days.
How long does a cartridge last?
It depends on your city's chlorine level and how long you shower, which is why the strips are included. Swap the cartridge when the filtered strip starts matching the tap strip again.
Will it fit my shower?
It fits the standard 1/2" thread used on nearly all US shower arms.
Is the refill plan required?
No. It's off unless you choose it, we email three days before every shipment, and cancelling takes one click.
What if my tap water shows no chlorine at all?
Then you probably don't need a shower filter. Keep the strips and send the head back within 30 days for a full refund.
